Check out her list of the things guys should know about their ladies! Ceddy P Ladies... I'm sure we all can agree when we say that we would love for men to have a handbook on things they should and should not do when it comes to women. Unfortunately the many books that have been written cannot sum up everything without being the biggest book known to man. So, here I am to share 6 tips to all the guys out there that can help you with some things you may not have known or just can not understand when it comes to the ladies. Read More...

The Zero-Emissions One-Wheeled Motorcycle (Via Pop Sci)

Just before his plane dipped into the clouds above Beijing International Airport two years ago, Ben Gulak caught the last clear view of the sun that he would see for two weeks. On the ground, the 17-year-old, who was on a family trip to China, quickly spotted a source for much of the thick haze hanging over the city: smog-spewing motorbikes. Thousands of them, everywhere. “Right then,” he says, “I decided that I wanted to create an alternative mode of transportation, something clean and compact.”  Read More...

No, Do NOT 'Obey Your Thirst': The Problem With "Cyberpimping" and How To Avoid It.

In 2013, with the number of successful, beautiful, and eligible ladies still being in men's favor, brothers continue to embarrass themselves in an effort to secure women's affection. I blame Sprite. For years, the popular soda brand acted as an accomplice in men being overly hype in their pursuit of females. They urged us to show no discretion and tact in our approach with the utterance of three simple words: "Obey Your Thirst". While the catch phrase helped  Sprite (and its parent brand, Coca-Cola) acquire buku billions, it led many a gentleman to the proverbial waste side. Over time, this quote has been taken out of context and influenced men to allow their sexual and emotional desires to steer their line of thinking, an action that can result in catastrophic consequences. (In the voice of Rakim) Thinking of a thirsty text... Though my reference to Sprite is made in jest, I am genuine in my concern for some of my gender's behavior when looking...

LeBron James, Couples Counselor? The Incredible Correlation of Basketball and Relationships

Today marks the beginning of the 2013 NBA Finals, and this evening fans across the globe will be tuned in to watch history. Audiences are interested to know whether LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris “Osh Kosh B” Bosh and the Miami Heat can overtake the cerebral and equally talented San Antonio Spurs to win their second consecutive NBA Championship together. The Heat are coming off a difficult series in which they were taken to the limit, but it may have served them well. Watching Miami persevere actually offered me perspective on winning in another area of interest: relationships. In analyzing basketball, it has become apparent that the parallels between succeeding on the hardwood and in your love life are surprisingly strong. As a leader, Lebron takes the responsibility of helping his team succeed. This is a role we should embrace in a relationship. Relationships require a number of components that mirror developing a title contender in the basketball and sports in general. T...

Everyday ‘Scandal’: How to Handle Your Own Controversy… Without Kerry Washington

It happened every Thursday. You looked forward to (or dreaded) the social commotion the moment the clock hit 10:00 pm. In two short seasons, ABC's drama series Scandal  became arguably the most talked about show on television. The show centers around the crisis management firm of Olivia Pope (played by Kerry Washington), a former associate of the President of the United States who works to keep the compromising secrets and affairs of the highest elected officials under wraps; ironically enough, Pope had a scandalous past with the President. Sometimes everyday citizens find themselves in compromising situations fit for the Oval Office. Scandal draws great reviews for its writing and cast, but also hits with fans for its take on how handle "awkward" situations. Though we may not have affairs in the oval office, many of us experience scandals of our own kind. Arrest, affairs, job terminations, and unplanned pregnancies are just a few of the wild issues that we face...

Choose Your Artist- Future vs. T-Pain

Voice alteration is by no means a new tool to music, but in recent years we have seen a renaissance in its inclusion. Undoubtedly, the Hip Hop and R&B genre have lead the way in including these tools, primarily through its use of the Auto Tune digital processor. Artists such as Will.I.Am, Chris Brown, and Drake have utilized auto tune to create dozens of hits. In our latest installment of Choose Your Artist, we visit the world of Auto Tune as we pit one of the most successful users of the tool, T-Pain, against the recently crowned champion, rapper Future. Tale of the Tape: Singer T-Pain emerged on the scene in 2004 with unique style and voice that fans had not heard in many years. T-Pain's surge to stardom was spearheaded with his use of the largely underutilized voice adjustment tool Auto-Tune.Originally used to disguise and hide off-key discrepancies, T-Pain used Auto-Tune as a device to assist in his melody. The technique would lead to such hits as "Bart...
