I Gotta Have It

What's Good TEEEAMMMM? I know, I know; I've been really corny, not blogging at all. Trust me, when you see the end result of what I've been working on, you'll say, "It's cool, broseph." Anywho, I want to give y'all a little poem, inspired by some thangs in MY life lol...it's called "I Gotta Have It."

My man Spike said it best/
She’s  gotta have it/
Nola Darling in the flesh/
I like to test out my theory; I try to send a text/
A post on her wall, or an afternoon call/
Space it out, ‘cause I refuse to sweat her/
Of her dozens of pursuers, only I seem to know better/
Sweetie get jocks likes Dwight gets blocks/
But no twitter romance from this grown man/
...Yet I’m still drawn to her, and she to I/
She swears I’m a nice guy/
Loves the way I make her laugh, and strive to be the best/
My style makes her choke; she got a SWAG reflex/
Mmm, you know I gotta have it/
Dedicated check-out clerk: I gotta bag it/
If she thinks my jokes and my flirting is witty/
She’ll lose her mind when she sees my sensual creativity/
Have her asking “What’s Happening?” like Re-Run and Raj/
In the shower, lathered up with much more than body wash/
Want to talk? I’ll listen; Massage if your back hurts/
Cause this ain’t “Just for Me”; I’m here to RELAXER/
For now, I wait to show her that when I’m with her/
I’m Karl Malone’s son, I was born to deliver/
Yes you gotta have it, but just try it once my way/
I’m what you’ve been waiting for, like 4:30 on Friday.

Feel free to comment and let me know what you think!
