Another Part of Me

"Another Side of Me"

What's up world? I hope everyone is doing well and living their life to the fullest. If you haven't already, go check out the newest sketch from the Pick 6 crew, "Blockers Insurance". We've all had that moment when we've been attempting to get quality time and someone kept interrupting. Well we've got the insurance for that now (click here to see the commercial).

I really had a topic I wanted to drop, but I will save that for the next blog. For now, sit back and enjoy a little rhyme I wrote.

No matter how close we are, it feels like you evade me/
Suburban Black kid, you just don’t relate to me/
And that’s how it go, my own hood don’t relate to me/
Feeling out of this world; my crib’s outer space to me/
Maybe that’s why when I get “"Sirius”"/
You look at me funny, like I’m reciting “Delirious”/
Not Eddie with the jokes, but you can come in my America/
But why I gotta be mackin to show I ain’t scared of ya?
When I flirt, it ain’t all jokes, Bay-by/
I ain’t Martin, this ain’t “"You So Crazy”" /
When I’m done call Sheneneh to re-glue your tracks/
Make you scream til Bruh Man hears; so Runteldat!
This Slick Rick has had his eye on you for quite a while/
Intelligent, Fashionista, such a gorgeous smile/
But when you seek a man that match your profile/
They’re so out of place, like cheap kitchen floor tile/
No matter, girl, I’ll be your Home Depot/
Cool as an Ice Cube, you don’t need a Debo/
Won’t run off my skills, you already seen those/
But it’s time to take a risk, like drafting Tim Tebow/
If you don’t know him, excuse the analogy/
But I wanna be the man who you feel proud to be/
Walking hand and hands with/
Sitting in the stands with/
Talking with Jay and B, that’s who we making plans with/
I know it’s a little corny to be expressive/
I f’d up, I sent a good morning message/
But it’s just one side, I’m also aggressive/
I’m a Rick Ross album: Way more than you expected/
Im just reflecting, Im a reflection/
Of how great we go together; it’s almost perfection/
What’s wrong girl? Why won’t you side with me?
It’s probably because you only see one side of me.
